To assess the tumor lysis syndrome in Burkitt lymphoma, we analyzed the clinical and laboratory
findings of 17 patients with Burkitt lymphoma who were admitted to the Department of Pediatrics,

Transient myeloproliferative disorder has been reported in infants with Down syndrome.
Infants with Down syndrome and this transient myeloproliferative disorder often present
with signs and symptoms that are clinically and hematologically indistinguishable from
congenital acute myelogenous leukemia. In contrast to congenital AML, complete clinical and

During 4 years, from October 1957 to September 1961, 135 cases of congenital heart diseasewere observed, which represents about 1% of the total patients who were seen durng the same period and approximately six times more than the occurence of chronic rheumatic heart disease.
